Efficient catalysts for performance properties

NACURE® acid catalysts accelerate and increase overall efficiency for melamine-crosslinked coil and PCM formulations. Selecting the proper NACURE acid catalyst will provide improved final film properties such as pop resistance, overbake resistance, improved flexibility, viscosity stability, improved DTM adhesion and moisture/corrosion resistance.

Improve flexibility while maintaining hardness

K-FLEX® diol resin modifiers provide improved flexibility while maintaining hardness and provide the added benefit of improved adhesion in primers and topcoats over steel and aluminum substrates. K-FLEX resins have excellent hydrolytic stability that provide good high temperature resistance and performance for coil coating applications.

Defoaming, leveling & anti-pop

With the addition of surface control agents, the optimal coil coating can be achieved with strong defoaming, leveling, and anti-pop properties. DISPARLON® provides a balanced mix of performance benefits for both waterborne and solvent borne coil coatings.

Tin free catalysts

K-KAT® catalysts offer easy replacement of tin with excellent cure profiles for 1K blocked isocyanate coatings.

Corrosion resistance for solventborne & waterborne

NACORR® provides corrosion resistance for solventborne and waterborne systems. NACORR can be used as the primary corrosion inhibitor or in combination with anticorrosive pigments. NACORR products exhibit synergy with anti-corrosive pigments improving the salt spray resistance of the coating. NACORR can also have a catalytic effect enhancing cure rate of amino crosslinked systems.

Sag control and high gloss

K-STAY® is an additional liquid post-addable rheology modifier option for highly pigmented systems for sag control with high gloss. Ideal systems are urethane, acrylic-melamine, polyester-melamine bake solvent borne systems.
