Rust Preventive Additives
NA-SUL® and K-CORR® rust and corrosion inhibitors have provided superior protection worldwide since 1952 through a combination of surface activity and excellent solubility in a broad range of carrier fluids. These synergistic polar compounds have superior protection in thin film systems for harsh humidity and salt environments. They can be utilized in a range of applications including machined parts protection, automotive rust preventives, CLPs, penetrating oils and more.

Neat oil, oil/solvent, and solvent rust preventives
Select NA-SUL® and K-CORR® additives provide enduring performance in oil, solvent, and oil/solvent combination formulations. Our portfolio consists of both ash-containing and ashless rust preventive additives that are versatile in formulating low viscosity penetrating fluids to heavy duty wax type coatings. King Industries Rust Preventive additives are compatible in a wide variety of formulating systems including oil, solvent, or oil/solvent base stocks.
Oil-water emulsion rust preventives
NA-SUL® oil-water emulsion rust preventive additives are designed to be incorporated into oil or oil concentrate to be emulsified with water. These rust preventives provide an exceptional rust protective film while being suitable for VOC-free applications. Suggested application methods apply for similar soluble oil type formulations.
Water-emulsion rust preventives
NA-SUL® water-emulsion rust preventives are intended to be blended as an additive component in water based or semi-synthetic. The resulting blend generates an emulsion system suitable for use as a semi-synthetic rust preventive. NA-SUL water-emulsions can be blended without heat and at certain treat levels, provide dry to the touch finishes.
Water-soluble rust preventives
NA-SUL® water-soluble rust preventives form clear, stable liquid mixtures that are hard water tolerant when blended as an additive and water solution. These products are exceptional for formulating VOC-free and synthetic fluids for temporary parts protection.
