NA-LUBE KR-019 is a higher viscosity alkylated naphthalene synthetic base stock for high performance lubricants offering outstanding solubility plus excellent hydrolytic and thermo-oxidative stability. NA-LUBE KR-019 offers excellent thermal and hydrolytic stability and can be used as a solubility modifier in formulations blended with low polarity base oils or severely hydrotreated base stocks to enhance additive response.
The recommended treat level of NA-LUBE KR-019 as a base oil modifier is between 10.0% and 30.0% depending on the application.
NA-LUBE KR-019 can also be used as the major base fluid for high temperature applications requiring exceptional thermo-oxidative stability. It is highly recommended for high temperature applications where low volatility is critical.
